when you mean alt attribute for images, what should i insect?

alt="image" or write the name of the image for example alt="twitter logo" ?
Because there were some browsers who dont support some images and we should put tthe name of the image so that the reader can understand what the image is about.

In 'alt' attribute, we put the name of the image.
Example,

Code:
<img src="images/webartzlogo.gif" alt="WebArtz Logo" />

Anchors, you mean links? They are not necessary. ALT attribute is necessary for SEO as well as to get your HTML validated Razz

Make a clean hierarchy of links of the website. Don't mess up internal links.
Don't add too many images to the website. Add site map so that users and crawlers could easily find the pages they want.

Also use correct title tags, h1 tags, and site link structure. A good website design company should have knowledge in seo as well. Always ask this before hiring them to build out a website.

You should add a clear hierarchy of links. Add site-maps to the website. Restrict the pages you don't want to crawl by crawlers.

When you are designing a new website, there are certain things you should know about search engine optimization (SEO) and its importance. Have your search engine optimized website is very important if you want to improve their visibility in search engines. The following are some tips for designing a website optimized for search engines:

Use the right keywords - The most important factor that affects your search engine results page ranking is the use of keywords and keyword phrases in your website. By adding keywords to see which is relevant to the audience you are interested in. Find out what your target audience would type into Google when looking for information.

Update your content regularly - Check regularly add new and relevant content of your website. This can not only enhance the popularity of your website, but also your ranking in searches for targeted keywords.

Add the content that is unique-There is little use in updating your site with the same stories that are found everywhere on the web. Make sure your content is interesting and offers something new and useful for visitors.

Use keywords in the title - Pay attention to the words in the title of your website and also the title of the articles and other content on their websites. This can improve the visibility of its contents to search engines and tell you what your content is about.

Minimize the use of flash and graphics - Flash graphics are not visible to search engines so not much of the use of a large amount of flash on their websites. You can only slow down your website and irritate your visitors, so it is best to avoid using flash. Use only graphics that are relevant to the content of their website and type the relevant keywords to the image in the alt tags. Spiders are the text links over image links, so it is better to use more of the text links image links.

Avoid frames - many search engines do not have the ability to websites with frames spider. Even if a search engine spider does a site with frames, which is still crawling and indexing rather complicated.

Using the simple design tables - To ensure that search engines find it easy to navigate all the web pages, you must be ready and the navigation of the website as simple and conventional as possible.

Make use of Cascading Style Sheets - To facilitate the spiders to index your web pages and improve your ranking in search engines you can use cascading style sheets and JavaScript to reduce the size of the encoding for the design web. This can help speed up loading of your website visitors and avoid irritants with slow loading web pages.

Before all these must submit your blog to all search engines. Follow this article to "Submit your blog to all popular search engines manually."

Hope this helps in some way for you. Are you following all this and O Did I miss something? Share with us! Blogging happy!
