If you design the site from scratch & using all the graphics etc which are not copyrighted or even making them yourself, would help.

In addition to that, you should also read the terms and conditions of your web host and follow they otherwise your site can get deleted.

If you are using any template or script which is made by others, be sure to follow their terms too.

Like everything in life, there are several legal issues, it should be when you know your web page. Copyright is a great - do not copy other people's work without permission. But there are also links to child protection issues on the Internet. If you take the time to learn around the Web before you put together the basic rules, you will not be surprised at a later date.

Follow the rules set by the W3 commison. If you don't, the chances are your site will be taken down. I don't mean rules as in valid HTML etc... They have set rules, things like the Data Protection Act etc...

Don't publish child pornography, things like that Wink

Now a day, in web design has become increasingly important of legit aspects. When you are creating web design you should not use copying images, content or anything in website. In Web design this is only the main thing which want large amount of attention.

I actually made that mistake myself. Got a couple of my sites banned for 'Breach of Copyright'.
